How SurfAI collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy explains how SurfAI Technologies (“SurfAI”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through surfai.in (the “Site”). We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who is responsible for your data

SurfAI Technologies, 228, SRR Exurbia, Kavalahosahalli, Anekal, Bengaluru 562106, India. Contact for all privacy matters: contact@surfai.in.

2. What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you use the contact or demo-request form we collect your name, email address, company, the service you are interested in, and the message you write. If you email or call us we keep that correspondence.
  • Technical data. Like any website, our hosting servers automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, in server logs used for security and reliability.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, payment details or government identifiers through the Site. Please do not include them in your messages.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and to arrange calls or demos you request.
  • To prepare proposals and, if you become a client, to deliver and manage the work.
  • To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our forms, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 7). We do not use your data for automated decision-making. We do not sell your personal data and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, and only as needed:

ProviderPurpose
Hostinger (web hosting)Hosts the Site, its database and form submissions, and email delivery
Google FontsServes the typefaces used on the Site; your browser requests them from Google, which may receive your IP address

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights. Some providers process data outside India; where they do, we rely on their contractual and security commitments.

5. Cookies

The Site uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to work (for example, those set by WordPress and the site cache). We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as the relationship and legal requirements demand. After that we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw your consent, or to nominate another person to exercise your rights. Email contact@surfai.in and we will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period set by law. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and regular updates. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

11. Grievance contact

For questions or complaints about how we handle personal data, contact us at contact@surfai.in or +91 90366 22893.
